Hi, I’m Luke and this is a bit about me…
Throughout my life I have always been a very creative person.
I love constructing ideas from parts around the house and I’m never without a mini project which feed my passion for design.
Whilst I have matured, so have my design skills. This has allowed my projects to grow progressively larger and more advanced from cardboard and paper models, to full scale, fully functional, MDF and steel constructions. If I ever think about how an object works, it makes me want to learn about it so I can visualize what’s making it tick.
As my projects have been growing in complexity and scale, my interests have led me towards architecture. It fascinates me to see such advanced pieces of art that both work practically and visually. These structures can be people’s homes and that’s where it gets more interesting. It’s very challenging to first, design a house that just works as a structure of art, but also to make it practical, to make it suit someone’s needs well, that’s impressive.
My style of architecture is very cutting edge; I am amazed by ultra modern design and how many pieces seem to defy the laws of physics.
It is my dream to design and build very unique and interesting buildings that will shape the future and leave my own personal mark on the world. I aim to rival the most iconic designs from around the world.
Although I will soon be studying Architecture at university I still like to take on smaller projects. I will always be more than an architect by engaging in alternative design work such as furniture, products and fashion.
