As an aspiring architect, I am ambitious and dedicated to achieving my full potential. I take a balanced and individual approach to design, whilst keeping an open mind and adapting when necessary. I find the working dynamics of team based projects rewarding; something I have experienced and responded well to whilst in practice.
I believe that design should be a joint process combining a rational and responsive approach; delivering functional schemes with a sympathetic acknowledgement of the inhabitance and context.
I have found the challenges of my academic studies extremely rewarding and thoroughly enjoyed building upon both my personal skill and professional experience. University has left me with a strong desire to pursue an inspirational and successful career in architecture.
In addition to architecture, my interests expand into other fields of design such as furniture, products and photography. I have previously developed a minimalist, yet utilitarian desk which was awarded runner up in the Young Designers Competition out of over 1000 entries as well as being internationally published from various magazines and blogs. These projects remain on going fields of study in which I one day hope to launch my own furniture and industrial design collection.
