This is a mini-project that I did in year 10 as my work experience placement at an architecture firm in Leicester called Tangent Design. It is a building designed to go into an open plot of land near the main house.

The building has two floors and the majority is glass. It has a curvy shape going around the building which would probably be a coloured render. The curvy shape is also along the floor at one point so that kitchen appliances and cabinets are hidden from the outside.

There is a small balcony on the first floor and inside there is also an area to look down onto the ground floor, from the first floor as an entrance area.

I would have designed something completely different if I was to have another go at this project but I learnt some valuable skills in this week.

The CAD drawings were done on Auto-CAD LT which I was quickly taught in about an hour.
